Launched in London in 2004, SEAvision Consultants will concentrate on providing assistance to P&I Insurers and Liability Underwriters Shipowners Shipmanagers Charterers Underwriters Insurance Brokers SEAvision’s expertise will assist in: all casualty situations: collisions,groundings, pollution, cargo losses/damages, breakdowns, salvage creating a strategy to manage claims, including selecting and monitoring teams, with Chris Beesley and Ken Bright as the nucleus, to handle matters economically and efficiently negotiating and handling all types of claims (either directly or through us) coping with a heavy workload by outsourcing the extra work. SEAvision is intended to complement rather than compete with other service providers. We offer a discreet service directed at your particular needs. We can advise on claims presentation to underwriters or third parties. We can review ongoing matters and provide a second opinion or attempt resolution. As a commercially focused enterprise SEAvision can seek solutions that may not be open to other service providers. With extensive personal contacts around the globe SEAvision knows where to look for answers in remote locations. At the helm and sharing this vision of a niche market are Chris Beesley (formerly of Ince and Co and of C Solutions Limited (www.csolutionslimited.com) and Ken Bright (most recently The Swedish Club and Britannia P&I). Together they combine in excess of 70 years’ experience in the marine claims field, having covered most of the issues likely to be experienced in the region and elsewhere. Fees will be structured to meet the needs of the individual matters and clients. Whenever possible they will be on a contingency (no cure-no pay) or lump sum basis.
